The Perfect 16 Purification System
The Perfect 16 system works as part of your home’s HVAC system. What
this means is that every time the air passes through your HVAC system,
the air also passes through the whole-home filtration system. Although
most HVAC systems already use some type of air filter, the Perfect 16
system is vastly superior to traditional filters.
Micro-Fiber Technology - The filter used in
this system is manufactured using “micro-fibers”. These fibers are 10
times thinner than the ones used in conventional furnace filters.
Although air can pass through the micro-fibers easily, they form an
intricate web that is practically impenetrable to airborne pollutants.
The Perfect 16 filter traps even the smallest airborne particles – such
as bacteria, mold, pollen, dust and VOCs – and keeps them from
re-entering your home.
V2 Design
- Most furnace filters are flat barriers that the air passes through as
it cycles though the HVAC system. The goal of these filters is to clean
away just the largest air pollutants while not impeding air flow within
the system. The goal of the Perfect 16 system, however, is to remove
even the smallest airborne particles - while still allowing maximum
airflow. To do this, the IQAir filter is designed using a unique double
“V” shape. This shape allows the purifier to hold 50 times more media
material than conventional filters, and still operate with very little
pressure drop. While other whole-home filter systems can reduce airflow
as much as 50%, the Perfect 16 actually improves HVAC performance
compared to a traditional air cleaner. Protecting airflow will allow
your home to cool or heat faster, and save you money.
The micro-fiber technology, coupled with the V2 filter design,
creates a remarkable filtration media. This media will remove 95% of
all airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns from the air in every
corner of your home. In fact, this system is so effective it has been
proven to improve the air quality in most homes by over 90% within one
hour of installation.
Professional Installation and Quality Control
The IQAir Perfect 16 system will be installed by an authorized
installer that is licensed and insured. Once the Perfect 16 system is
ordered, the installer will call and arrange for a pre-installation
evaluation of your home. After the evaluation, the unit will be
directly delivered to the installer who will then schedule a day for
the installation. Once complete, the installer will perform a
post-installation test and verification of system performance with
laser particle counter. IQAir guarantees that this installation will be
completed within 30 days of purchase.

Summary:
Overall we feel the Perfect 16 Whole House Air Purifier is great way to
have clean, purified air throughout your whole house at one great
price. Although it needs to be professionally installed, it has no
motorized or electric parts simplifying the installation process.
Furthermore, the complete installation is performed by a professional
IQAir authorized installer. We really enjoy that the unit is
maintenance free for 3 years saving us time and money.
