             I began getting involved in the indoor air quality industry after I was exposed to an exuberating amount of the toxic solvents, acetone, and formaldehyde. This occurred due to my store’s air ducts being connected and unfiltered with my neighbors, a nail salon. While operating a business that repaired and sold vacuum cleaners in New Jersey for 30 years, I became dangerously ill and nearly died due to the exposure of these toxins. While recuperating, I realized how important it is to have clean air in a living and working environment.
           I discovered two very important facts during this time: #1. Many of the products on the market that are supposed to help you are actually doing a disservice to the people that use them by claiming their product works. I do not have a problem with a company that claims their machine is the best. I do have a problem when a company claims their vacuum or air purifier traps the dirt down to 3/10th of a micron and that claim is false. The only air purifier that traps the particulates, mold and dust down to 1/10th of a micron is the IQAIR. #2.Even if you are in good health, breathing an abundance of bacteria, mold spores and or chemicals emitted from vacuum cleaners and air purifiers can in itself compromise your immune system, give you asthma and make you sick.
          During a lengthy road to recovery, I decided to devote a big part of my life to learning everything about the indoor air quality industry while educating others about the health benefits of clean indoor air. I began by testing products that remove toxic mold, hazardous chemicals and indoor pollutants. Unfortunately, only the IQAIR removes particles down to 1/10th of a micron. Appropriately, I decided to testing particulate emissions from vacuum cleaners. The same results were found. There are very few vacuum cleaners that trap the dust particulates down to 3/10ths of a micron with claims that are true—Miele being exceptionally one of those brands.
              Through this business, I expanded into sick building remediation with the top Government Officials, Hospital Directors of the United States and foreign countries, Hygienists, asbestos and lead abatement specialists in the Philippines. Post 9/11, I traveled to NYC to do testing in peoples homes, businesses and office buildings.
              Allergists continue to refer their patients to my company for their air cleaners and allergy product needs. People come to us seeking help for allergies, asthma and chemical intolerance from all over the USA . I have surely been blessed with this wonderful business and I enjoy giving my knowledge about indoor air quality back to the community I continue to educate the people in these groups on how to reduce the triggers that cause asthma and allergic reactions in their homes and businesses.
