--6 Year Warranty--

ModernDay warranties all its power units against electrical component failure for a period of three (3) years. Any parts or repairs (excluding filters) required within the first three (3) years will be furnished free of charge by the authorized dealer from whom the power unit was originally purchased. ModernDay will extend the warranty on all its power units for an additional three (3) years --- for an overall coverage of six (6) years---provided the motor brushes are inspected and replaced (if needed) at the end of the first three (3) years. There is a nominal service charge for the warranty extension and the inspection must be done by an authorized ModernDay dealer. ModernDay further covers its products with a Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In the event an authorized dealer is not nearby, ModernDay will honor and perform all warranty and/or warranty extension services for a nominal charge, provided the power unit is returned to the factory, freight prepaid, and it can be verified that all services were performed by an authorized ModernDay dealer. This warranty does not apply to commercial applications, misuse, abuse, or if the unit has been worked on by an unauthorized person.
